OST Bayonetta Original Soundtrack – New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» All the audio goodness of Bayonetta is collected in the official Bayonetta Original Soundtrack which spans five discs of BGM, vocals, and songs sung in somewhat broken English. If shuttled inside a CD caddy and played non-stop, the songs would endure for a little over 5 hours.
On the first disc, listeners can enjoy tracks such as “Fly Me To The Moon (Infinity Climax Mix)” which may invoke images of Rei Ayanami and “Demonic Beast Summon” which sounds like old school night club music. By “old school,” we mean way back in the day when words like “gents” and “dames” were still bandied about. On the third disc, we thought “ST08 Paradiso – Graveyard of the Memories of Time” would have been a usable track in any Castlevania game with its melancholy chants and organ music.

PSP Fate/Extra [Limited Edition] – Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Archer, Saber, and the rest of the gang from the “Fate Stay” franchise are back but instead of full-out fisticuffs, they’re supporting characters engaged in a role-playing game. The kind that contains natty cut-scenes and the occasional interaction sequence to move the story along. Players join the Holy Grail War by selecting and naming a male or female protagonist who becomes a Master that’s bound to a Servant who helps its master win the war.

Japanese distributors have started preorders for the Limited Edition of the game but the regular edition should open up in a couple of weeks. The bonuses included in the Limited Edition are:

1) Figma “Saber Extra” figure which is decked out in a red dress that’s almost tasteful were it not for the see-through gossamer out in front. Saber’s “business” is visible to the universe but maybe her golden boots will draw attention away from her skivvies. A clear figma mounting stand is included to ensure that Saber’s always steady in any pose.

2) Fate Extra Visual Works booklet which is filled with character illustrations and artwork by WadaAruko.

3) Fate Extra Limited Soundtrack CD with tracks composed by Shinji Hosoe aka MEGATEN.

4) Special Retail Box to hold all the goodies in a compact container.

PSP IkkiTousen Xross Impact (New Gentei Bakuretsu Pack) – Pre

«©NCSX» Marvelous enjoyed a decent hit with Ikkitousen Eloquent Fist from October of last year and the sales numbers were adequate enough to compel future releases. The game’s already been re-issued under the “Best” banner and Marvelous milks Eloquent Fist with a full-blown sequel that’s bound to bring fans back into the fold.

Ikkitousen Xross Impact features the same side-scrolling punching and kicking action from Eloquent Fist but the story is brand new and six new characters join the cast to increase the roster to 22 heroines. New moves are also available to the girls so they can fight with whippy panache. Similar to the original game, Xross Impact is replete with bouncing breasts and clothing that shatters when smacked with a strategic hit. Up to two players may cooperate in the action via ad-hoc mode.

The “New Gentei Bakuretsu Pack” version of Xross Impact includes a few bonuses as follows:

1) Kanu Unchou Petit Nendoroid figure which is exclusive to the Gentei Bakuretsu Pack and won’t be sold in any other capacity.

2) Set of 24 Ikkitousen POGs which feature the cast of characters showing all of their individual splendor. By splendor, we mean bosoms.

3) Original Drama CD featuring the voice actresses from the animated Ikkitousen serial in a new dramatic scenario.

4) Poster which depicts a new character taking a bubble bath.

The game and bonuses are all packaged in a special box which looks to be the same size as the original Eloquent Fist LE box. OST Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack – Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The original Final Fantasy games belted out melodious beeps and boops for the sound effects and music. They didn’t sound bad but that was old-school chiming and sound technology has marched onwards since the ancient days of gaming. When the Final Fantasy series reached the Super Famicom, lush musical scores became the norm for the franchise. The songs progressively got grander and more mellifluous under the guiding hand of Nobuo Uematsu as console generations came and went.

As we head towards the thirteenth Final Fantasy, Nobuo steps aside and hands the reins over to Masashi Hamauzu who has worked on Final Fantasy X and Saga Frontier 2. The upcoming  FFXIII Original Soundtrack spans four CDs which are packaged neatly in a foldout binder. In addition to the regular edition of the soundtrack, Square is also releasing a limited edition (pictured to the left) which includes a few bonuses as follows:

TOYS Soul of Chogokin: Fireball Drossel – Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Our private collection of “Soul of Chogokin” toys contains robots like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Dancougar, and Raideen. We’ve got a few Evangelion in there along with a King Joe toy too. Still waiting for a Voltes repaint but maybe we’ll get one in 2012 when the Mayan calendar ends.

NCS never thought we’d see Disney’s Drossel join the Soul of Chogokin series but she’s coming. Drossel measures 18cm or 7.08″ tall and is packaged with helm attachments that bolt onto Drossel’s head. Five pairs of hands are also included so Drossel can be expressive. Her facial expression is pretty much non-existent so she’ll have to signal her mood with finger jive. TOYS Rockman & 1-Up Bearbrick Set – Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Rockman’s been around for ages but he’s changed through the years with newfangled renditions in Rockman X, Rockman Zero, and Rockman EXE. The upcoming Rockman & 1-Up Bearbrick Set in Medicom’s Kubrick & Bearbrick (#262) product line places the blue knight squarely in his original 8-bit Famicom persona.

Rockman measures 7cm or 2.75″ tall and is tinted two shades of blue. His boxy body is painted a light-blue while his helmet, hands, and feet are colored navy blue. His expression appears to convey angst… or gas. In addition to the Rockman figure, Medicom also throws in a transparent-blue Bearbrick who has a Rockman tattoo on his chest.
